I've dropped my Driod almost a few times too many. Last time was the worst...Whopping two feet - concrete - not in its case - direct hit on one corner.

I shouldn't even admit to this but here goes. Got done talking on the phone while driving to my barber's place and stuck the phone between my legs thinking I would put it in the case on my belt once I arrived. Got done with the hair cut and was heading down the road when I reached for my phone - not there! Dang, musta fell out on the ground when I got out of the car. Drove back and looked all around her driverway (gravel btw) where I had parked. No sign of the phone. Went up to the house to see if I had taken it inside by mistake. Nope, no phone. I walked back outside and spotted something shiny over by her car. There was my phone all muddy and scratched! She had let her 2 shephards outside to play while cutting my hair and they must have found the phone and decided to play hockey with it! Took a while to get all the dirt and slobber cleaned out.

I'm hard on phones. My wife got this for me last year(I think):
Amazon.com: Samsung Rugby a837 Phone, Yellow (AT&T): Cell Phones & Accessories: Reviews, Prices & more quote from the page: Ruggedized 3G handset in yellow great for outdoor workforces; withstands dust, shock vibrations, rain, humidity and more Anyway, it's proved it to me. Dropped it more than six times, and still working. Highly reccomend it to anyone who wants a tough phone. Buttons are big too.
