ISMAP error
equipment: Blackberry 9330 smartphone
issue: get ISMAP error attempting to acces a site question: what is this error and how mdo I resolve? ---------------------------------------------------------- Trying to access a weather site: Plymouth State Weather Center with my blackberries (8703e and 9330) results in "ISMAP error"..this ocurrs if attempt to "click" on the interactive weather map. Also: the pointer does not open any of the subsites on this address. is there a cure for this? Suspect the blackberry browser is not able to read the html???? thanks... |

I think you are on the right track - "ismap" has to do with image maps. You need to see if that site has a mobile version.

i dont think they have a mobile version. interestingly---this site works fine on my other smartphone (HTC VX6700 and 6800) the blackberry has options to set "encoding" --ie---ascii/utf etc---i tried palying with these>> no change. blackberry also has options to set various browser parameters (ie: scripts, html etc)-- |
