LG Thrive?
Hi all. Thinking about upgrading from my LG Prime to a LG Thrive. Seems like a much better phone. I have a question. One that the LG online rep couldnt answer. In fact he didnt understand what I was asking.
Does anyone know what Class Micro Sd cards are supported? I know it will handle Up To 32GB. But doesnt state what Class (Speed). LG makes a couple of versions of this phone. Depending on Carrier. Thanks all. |

I can't answer for that specific phone, but it's my understanding that anything faster than a class 6 will have problems with phones.

My current LG Prime (GS390) has a 4Gb Class 2. Was sold that model by Crutchfield.
I do understand the difference in Class. Thing is I dont want to buy one too slow. Or pay extra for one that wont work. Thanks |

My new LG Thrive arrived yesterday. Havent had a chance to set it up. I decided to order a 16gb Class 4 Micro Sd. Waiting for that to arrive.
The standard post pay version of this phone is the LG Phoenix. I am kinda curious how well the new phone works. Since I have never used an Android 2.2 phone before. Then there is the Data Plan?? I am guessing that is for the Internet. And the Code Scanner. |

LG Finally got back to me. The LG Thrive will function with Class 2, 4 and 6 Micro Sd cards.
The 4 Gb Class 4 card arrived today. Tried in my older LG Prime (GS390) and it works. Still havent opened the Thrive. On the fence on whether to keep or return. Guess I am saying that I bought a cadillac phone. When I (At this point) only need a buick phone. Features I may not use. Maybe my problem is "Buyers Remorse". |

Well I did it. Finally decided to open the Thrive and set it up. This new phone is so Different from what I am used to. That and I managed to use up several dollars of my Go-Phone account. I may just return the phone. The Prime only cost me a few pennies to go online and read an e-mail. Guess I see what Amazons return policy is. And if I have time, Keep the phone. And try to learn the Android 2.2 system.
