so you think it better because it has the 7200 rpm hard drive
i was favoring the gateway because it has 6g ram and cheaper lol is there a big difference between them? thx for the help |

I think the major difference is the brand reliability. Gateway is at the bottom, Lenovo at the top, and Lenovo's thinkpad line is the best of the best. The Gateway also has a larger hard drive, but Id still get the Lenovo.

I would have recommended an Asus, but the only Asus laptops that Futureshop sells are refurbs.

I pretty much recommend Lenovo. Take an Asus apart.
