Can not copy any songs or videos from iPhone to iTunes
I am experiencing trouble with my iPhone. I have to reinstalled my
Windows 7 OS due to some trouble. When I reinstalled everything include iTunes back, it can not automatically back up my iPhone to iTunes like it used to. Also, I can not copy any songs and/or videos from iPhone to my iTunes. Does anyone know how could I restore all my previous services I got before the reinstallation? Help!! Very thanks. |

Can you log onto your iTunes account?

I think the problem you are having is that your new install thinks that your computer is a completely different machine. Therefore, your iPhone will probably not backup because Apple is thoroughly convinced that you are stealing music from yourself.
Wonderful isn't it...

Have you reauthorized the computer?

Copyrighted media has to go from iTunes to your mobile device. Apple does not allow media to go the other way.
When you plugged your iPhone into your computer and booted iTunes, iTunes should have prompted you to authorize your computer. You will need to do this manually. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1420

I'm trying to remember the name of the program I bought... it works great for taking your tunes back to your computer.. and it was cheap.. like $15 or less. Touchcopy comes to mind.. but I won't know for sure until I get back to town and sit down at my computer. It will allow copyrighted material to go from your iPod back to iTunes.
I just looked at the website... yes, Touchcopy is the program, but they've jacked up the price since I bought it... $25 now.
