Laptop fan never spins properly...
So I have this laptop, Fujitsu siemens Amilo Pi 2530, and for some reason the fan never spins. It will jerk when I turn it on but thats all I ever get out of it. Sometimes it well spin for about ten seconds while I'm in windows, just randomly, then it stops. I cant do much with it because of this problem, Ive tested it with Heavy Load and Speed fan, as soon as the temp reaches 85 degrees (C) the laptop will shutdown. Im not going to do that again because i kind of need this to do work on and i dont exactly want it to fry itself so... My only option is to use a blowdryer (cooling pad does not work) and watch when the temperature goes into the danger zone the i just give it a nice blow with the dryer at the bottom to cool it down. I dont think its bios, Ive never changed it and I reset the settings today but, no difference. The heat sink isnt clogged, I also cleaned it not so long ago.
Thanks in advance... |

Most likely the fan is defective and needs replacing.
