Drive replacement question

I have an Acer Aspire AS5720-4126 Pentium dual core, 160 Gb HDD that's about four years old. Hard drive is failing. Is it possible to replace the drive with an SSD? It's not a high-use unit, and I don't really want to drop the coin for a new laptop, although that would be sweeter.

Thanks for any input.

If the current drive is a SATA then you should be able to install an SSD.
