Question Acer Aspire 8943g

I have a video issue on my Acer aspire. The laptop was unable to boot to a working desktop. It halts when loading the operating system second just before the Win7 login screen but I can boot to safe mode. Did system restore nothing changed. I decided to reinstal Win7 but strangely the onboard graphic card ATi Radeon HD 5650 refuse to install the genuine drivers. If I force it, the laptop refused to boot and I have to do restore. On device manager there is a code 10 error even after forcing the driver install ?
Is it the onboard graphic gone or what ?

Many thanks

what happens when you let windows install the default driver... does it work okay then?

On some laptops and netbooks you cannot just install any AMD driver and Catalyst... it has to be specific...

In those situations I may just go with whatever windows installs at the time of OS install and then let Windows Update cover the rest...

I did installed the Orignal video drivers from the Manufacturer and whenever I do, the Device Drivers report that the graphics card could not start with error codeX10.

Windows can't find the drivers whenever you let it install and search it online.
My laptop use to have a glossy-like look but now it is all dull and unattractive.
