Yee Haw

Today I dumped my Samsung Galaxy III for an iPhone 5. Feels so right. I gave the gal a chance but couldn't deliver. Had to go back to the one who brung me, updated to boot. Besides gives me another reason to dump a liberal commie loving Google

man I love the SIII but then I love Google too... they make my life so simple.

But then again I like that every aspect of android is fully customizable...so many things I can do to it I just could with Apple...

But it is important that you use what you love and you'll be happy with... if iPhones work for you then that suits you. I wouldnt want to live with something I wouldnt like

I read this weekend where you can get good trade in. I got such a great swap was hard to pass up. Top dollar. And the iPhone 5 fits in my pocket easier than shoving the Galaxy III down what seems a jockstrap. The Galaxy much bigger. Lol. And I can text my kids w/o constantly backing up to edit.

But you know what? When previous pics from iPhone came out better and got published over ones from my Rebel, I knew something up. I can show the pics but have before.

I looked at a few of the companies that buy used electronics when my wife wanted to sell her Blackberry. The best price I found was selling it on Craigslist.

thats one issue with teh Galaxy SIII... the samsung version of Swype sucks...

the word prediction is terrible. The pictures though are amazing... I;ve taken some very nice pictures... no doubt its good... but the word thing is an issue.

I plan to install the regular swype or just keep using voice text... its the most accurate I've seen

I found the voice text by accident and pretty much resorted to it but had to be careful. What I spoke didn't always come out right.

So far the Google voice text has been great. I just found out this morning that Swype is now a loaded option on the 4.1.2 update for the SIII... I switched right away and havent missed but one word so far...

I miss the days before texting when it wasnt heard of yet...I had none of these issues lol

Im on a Nexus 4, best phone Ive ever owned. For the $350 without a contract, it was a no-brainer. My bill is ~$50 per month unlimited everything. I can say, with my Nexus 4 experience, Google will always be my first consideration when it comes to a new phone. Not having a contract is a plus too, I can take it to any GSM provider. To top it off, Im saving $60 per month, or $1440 when you factor in the standard contract length.

My reasons for anti-Google are political. I don't like who they sleep with or carry water for, which in my opinion are anti-American, at least the America I knew. I'll leave it at that.

Google is fighting the expansion of NSL's under the Patriot Act. You have to give them some credit for that. Otherwise politically, I understand where you are coming from Sarge.
