The transport of the future has to be the horse and cart. Think about it - eco-friendly cheap to run, and almost non-polluting.If civilization breaks down, a horse will be worth its weight in gold.

I've got a big picture of 110 mph Dallas traffic with horse and cart. That won't work, they'd run out of horses in a few days.
