After reading many, many posts about start-up speed and the answer time and again is that to many things are set to startup when the pc is turned on.
How about this? An example would be connecting to the internet. When a person clicks on connect, why couldn't any programs associated start also. Why couldn't firewalls, ad eliminators and virus programs start with "connect"? Just curious. Carl |

maybe some has settings that need to be done before connect innitates.
