Getting dreamweaver to work with my AOL FTP space

Hi guys,

I assume this is the correct forum for this post, it seemed to fit best here so here goes....

I'm trying to create a few pages in my AOL FTP space with Dreamweaver MX but I can't seem to set it up to upload the files properly, as it stands the only way I seem to be able to acces my FTP space is through AOL's web browsing software by typing FTP in the address bar and this brings up their FTP transfer program and uploading files one at a time.

I've tried setting it up woith dreamweaver MX to be able to upload and I hav'nt got a clue what to enter in the text boxes in the setup page for that, i've attached a screen grab to show the window i mean.

Anyway, to access my FTP space from another browser you'd key in members.aol.com/######## where the #'s are my aol screen name. I've tried all sorts of varients of this in the dreamweaver settings but to no avail.

So if anyone's got any idea how to get this to work please help me as i'm completely stuck now. I assume the username and password would be my AOL screen name and normal account password.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks

D

FTP Address: ftp://ftp.aol.com

After that, it should take you to the public FTP directory. Leave the folder input blank and try inserting your usname and password on there. Just a word of advice - get a seperate FTP like WS_FTP - just my personal experience .

Hope that helps,
kram
