Comp Game Design!
ok here is what im asking 4:
im new to everything about writing code (C++,java,etc) but i have been playing comp games since i was 6 years old. and i love them with a passion. i would like to know where to begin on learninng about writing game code, using 3d studio max, XSI, whatever it takes to make games i would like to know it! so if you could... list any of the following: books web sites info advise anything and everything! i eat this stuff up all day long THANX! |

OpenGL Game Programming, for programming 3D games in C++ and OpenGL, I have the book, and it's great.

ex,
if your brand new to programming and want to create 3d games with programming but with ease check out darkbasic.com It uses the language BASIC. It uses direct3d and almost everything as c++ uses, the only diffrence is that: DB uses short codes usually one line per command C++ uses long codes and takes lots of typing to do what db can in one code Moral: DB is alot easier-you can get DB classic on amazon for 20.00USD and DBPRO for like 80.00........check em' out Feel free to ask me if you have any questions..... 8raker |
