Apache/PHP/Mysql on XP

i couldnt find anything searching on the forums so i thought id post this...i am tryin to get Apache/PHP/MySQL on my Windows XP system to start teaching myself.....are their any good websites to help me get them working....i tried about a month a go and i got Apache working but i couldnt get any of the others to work

i was also reading...and i read somewhere, correct me if im wrong, that you have to install php to WORK with apache? is that just edited the config file or something? so if i install php it wont work with apache right away?? i guess that would go with mysql? or even perl if i added that in as well?

Best option is to go to www.wampserver.com and download that and it installs it all for you preconfigured to work,

How to get Apache/PHP/MySQL working under Windows:

1) Install Apache.
2) Install PHP.
3) Open the file install.txt that comes with PHP, follow the installation instructions for Apache, they usually involve copying a couple of lines to httpd.conf.
4) Install MySQL.
5) Make sure that Apache and MySQL services are running.

That's it.

It ain't that difficult, it just makes it a doddle! I keep moving my work from place to place so it's handier than installing em seperate.
