Scrolling Text Effect

I for one will start this thing off...

You can create a text effect that draws attention to an important part of your Web page and makes your Web page appear more dynamic...

To make a scrolling test effect, do the following:

[marquee behavior="scroll" direction="left" bgcolor="yellow" loop="">
Whatever you want to put here goes here
[/marquee>

Note: Notice the brackets instead of <. I did that on purpose because if i put the real thing on it would really work! Below is the real thing....

Note: You can change the background color as well as the loop and scroll direction.

Whatever you want to put here goes here

I would not recommend marquees...but rather "pizzaz" ing your webpage may require mastery of a Photo editing software - the most prominent of those being Adobe Photoshop. I'd suggest becoming very familiar with that.

If you want to do something wrong use marquees or maybe some kind of fluorescent blinking text. Maybe even some javascript scrollers too, eh? Seriously you should really avoid things that detract from your site.

You can't do marquees in PS, although you could probably make an animated gif in Imageready that is pretty bad.

Just common sense and a well designed site that fits your content is the way to pizazz your site.

If you want to pizzaz up your website, add more white space.

Pizzazing up your website is a two way street. Eye candy is good for the right-brained people, but those left-brained people they want something different.

The number one thing you can do to make your website stand out amongst all the rest...hire a professional.

The number two thing you can do is research advances made by other developers and build your own image upon their ideas.

[edit] photoshop is an image editing program and you can't code a marquee with it, but you can make stuff equally repulsive if you try
