Making Picture Stretch As Content Is Added
Hello, I wanted to put in a very simple gif file as my background, not very complex, and have my text over it. The problem is, if I decide to make my page longer I would have to make the picture again, Is there a way that the picture will stretch as I type more in it? Thanks a lot, this is the picture I want to use, I made one myself and it has no text on it. http://www.good-tutorials.com/track/5567
Thanks. |

You will need to use tables. Make the table that you want to be expandable have the background image.

Im sorry
but can you clarify that, so I make a table and then just put a background image? No other special options to be checked? thanks.EDIT: OH, Yeah, I got it, but when I do that, if I make it longer, it just puts another one of the same picture under it, it tiles the image. I would like it to stretch, and still be one image. Thanks, I hope this is possible. Last edited by blankloner; 12-01-2004 at 10:04 PM. |

You can't stretch pictures. You could get it not to tile but it would still not stretch.
