Question

I admit I'm not a very good programmer thus far. And especially not in OpenGL. I've looked at resources and I am quite confused. I can write simple programs in C++, but that's about it. Does anyone know what libraries I need to import Milkshape 3d code? I'm working on a very big project, so if someone knows anything about OpenGL it would be appreciated if someone could point me out to some good beginner tutorials. Very basic stuff please. I'm not even at stacks yet in my programming class so I know very little. I also use the bloodshed visual dev C++ compiler so it would be nice to have tutorials specific for that compiler. Really anything would help.

Well, doing anything like this and being a beginner would be hard.

There are a few options:

MS has an OpenGL reference at:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/ps...apxb4_82lh.htm

You can also order the platform SDK which should have OpenGL information on it.

Question Will that help?

I don't have Visual C++ (I do but it's like 1.2). I have the free bloodshed developer compiler. Will those libraries work with my compiler? Or does it matter?

This is just a text reference -- the actual OpenGL API calls should work exactly the same in any language.

HTH.

Hehe, always happy to help.

Just so long as you're not one of those *really* out there otaku types who gives the other fans of anime a bad name

Talking True Otaku...

Does cross dressing as Sailor Moon at CosPlay Conventions, drooling over hentai, playing Jet Set Radio all day until the GD-ROM melts, buying an anime DVD box set everytime I get a paycheck, and wishing I could live in some No Need for Tenchi fantasy world with 3 anime chics on each arm count? J/K... I'm just an everyday obsessor.

But my need to learn OpenGL has something to do with anime. If you're more interested E-mail me.

Thanks Again.
