Need help compiling LAME with C++

Just for fun, I got the LAME source code, version 3.88, and decided to compile it, I got VC++.

In the directory, I typed it:

nmake -f makefile.msvc

It came out with an error saying:

'nasmw' is not reconize as internal or external command.

So I typed in this instead:

nmake -f makefile.msvc asm=no

And I get this error:

'icl' is not reconize as internal or external command.

I dunno what icl is, and I'm kinda stunk here, how can I compile the LAME dll successfully?
