100% cpu usage while runnig borland c
i use borland c++ 3.1 on win xp. cpu utilisation goes to 100%
anyone know why this happens and how to fix this? |

![]() Haven't tried that compiler, but I think it's pretty old, this could be the reason, why not try a newer version: http://www.borland.com/products/down..._cbuilder.html (download page, click on compiler ver 5.5) http://cplus.about.com/od/compilersa.../aa031502a.htm (usage instructions) Or even better, check out DevC++, which has a more standards-friendly compiler (gcc), and an IDE with code highlighting and completion: http://www.bloodshed.net/devcpp.html HTH |
