phpBB Setup Error
When I tried installing a phpBB forum I get this error.
Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2) in /home/www/mrmister.freestarthost.com/forum/db/mysql4.php on line 48 Warning: mysql_error(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/www/mrmister.freestarthost.com/forum/db/mysql4.php on line 330 Warning: mysql_errno(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/www/mrmister.freestarthost.com/forum/db/mysql4.php on line 331 phpBB : Critical Error Could not connect to the database. What does this error mean? Thanks in advance.

Now when I try to login into the forum, it says I'm not allowed to connect to the MySQL Server. I've tried it from two different computers.
Anyone know why? |

make sure that your ip address and or host name has access to that database or make sure you are accessing the right database...
