But I don't know much about xml, and I was thinking about investing ina book to enhance my knowledge or prepare me more. Any recommendations? or any books good for touching up skills on web programming? Thanks |

Elizabeth Castro's "HTML for the WWW with XHTML and CSS" published by Peachpit Press is a great book. It does not have XML, but XHTML which helps. This was the first book I started with and have progressed through Peachpit's Visual Quick Start Guide series (which this book is in) and have learned quite alot. This book is a great reference and also great for a beginner.

That is one thing that is great about the Visual Quick Start guides, the give a lot of information, explain it well, and do it all at a good price. If your looking to expand your knowledge of web design, I suggest checking out some of the other books in the series.
