Frontpage question

I don't use it, so I have never had to deal with it before. I really don't want to spend 5 hours going over docs either. I will if I have to though

My brother wants to set up Frontpage to access a little site I made for him. How can he access the web pages on my ftp server with the username/password I gave him to add new content and update the index.html and other pages?

This won't be an intricate operation, which is why Frontpage should be perfect. Plus he already has Office XP and isn't that computer savvy. Frontpage has templates and all that for him to work off of from what I have read.

I'm not sure if this is the solution youre looking for, but couldn't you just map a network drive going to your ftp server like ftp://username@password.myserver.com, and so he can easily access the folder and just update the html files from there?

I guess its not really going through frontpage, but you just have to open the files in Frontpage, then you can edit them and save them and it will automatically update.

You can't map a network drive to an FTP server in windows XP, but you can map a location in My Network Places. In My computer, go to tools->Map Network Drive, and click on the blue text saying "Sign up for online storage or connect to a network server", then click "next", and "Choose another location", then put in the address
Code:
ftp://username:password@domainname.com
(not the one rhdb52 said).

It's an easy mistake, I generally just fiddle around with the address until I get the correct one.
