help in visualbasic/crystal report

error encountered during printing report:
error # 2147217887
description : "Multiple step operation generatd errors.check each status value"
can anybody help me to fix this error? i am using visual basic and crystal report.

I haven't used crystal reports personally, but I had a similar error in another package, where I was adding page numbers to the print out. The error According to MS is generated by trying to update a calculated field, hence the page number problem.

Hope this helps, to be honest without seeing the code it would be difficult to see what causes the error.
