Sharing a tutorial for Photoshop Elements
I do web sites for several clients. They all seem to have problems with sending me their pictures. So I sat down yesterday and created this simple tutorial. One day last week, a client sent 35 MB of pictures that locked up my email. This had to be done!
I encourage my clients to use Photoshop Elements. It's powerful and easy to learn. This tells them how to crop, resize, and optimize their pictures. Then send them as an attachment. If anyone needs this, feel free to distribute it to your clients. Here's the link; http://www.honeycombwebdesign.com/Ph...20Tutorial.doc |

Still the biggest problem is that you are having someone with less skill crop, resize and optimize their pictures. I have found that this never works out properly. I would prefer to get the image and do it myself. What I would try to do is get them to change the settings on their camera to a little lower res and they will send you smaller pictures.
