how do i turn pics (gif,jpeg,tiff...) into icons?

Someone told me this tip but never tried it.
1. Open the image in Paint . 2. Resize it to 32 X 32. 3. Then save it with an extension .ico . |

don't know how to resize the object (not the canvas) in paint. no .ico option. |

Yes, it does work that way.
You don't need an .ico option, you just write .ico when you save it ![]() RJ

i must be getting dumber.
can i resize it in paint and keep the entire pic? it seems to cut off the pic. Last edited by peekaboo; 09-10-2005 at 02:35 PM. |
