Best books/programs to learn C++ quickly?
I am trying to get as much knowledge of C++ as quickly as I can in order to skip over some programming classes in city college so that I can hopefully transfer next winter, I am sure that the first programming class is fairly basic and that I could easily pass up the level that it is at if I had a good source to learn from. If anyone has any helpful ideas and reccomendations it would be much appreciated, thank you.

I book I picked up at barnes & nobles was C++ Weekend Crash Course by Stephen R. Davis. Now, it won't teach you everything and it helps to have some programming background already, but it's a good place to start off.
