My website.

Okay, So I am working on a website that markets, homes that are fixer-uppers. I am seeking some outside advice because my method now isnt working. The website is www.homesforrehab.com
I know its ugly but i have a prettier one thats almost finished
www.homesforrehab.com/hfrVersion2

Okay, so my problem is in the past when I would get the new weekly listing of properties, I would open it in excel and save a webpage, and simply upload over the old one. The entire website is programmed in notepad except for the listing. However the new listing contains pictures, that when i save as a webpage they don't appear.

I am wondering what is the best way to redo this site. So I can view my pictures and the site can run more effectivly. I have moderate skill with html
little skill with js and moderate skill with css.

Thanks for the help in advance, i know its alot

I am by no means literate in website setup but i think those pics have to be uploaded separately to your webserver as well as the pages that hold them.

here is the NEW status: I have decided to learn php and mysql. So far I have on my server set up sql and php. However I am having trouble connecting my php to mysql. I am using phpMyAdmin to run mysql. Anyone know of a good tutorial? I looked but a few were just copy/pasted from w3schools.com

HELP

A few things to keep in mind.

First off, database! Make sure your host allows you to use PHP/MySQL dabatasing before you delve into it. There are a lot of pre-written scripts out there that will submit and post listings (like a blog). I would recommend you look for those.

Second off, be conscious of screen resolution. Not everyone will have the same screen horizontal width that you may, whether it'd be 1000 pixels or 770 pixels.
