starting a web directory :/
After my father is to made redundant, searching the web for a new job for him didnt bring many results as his job is in specialist engineering.
in light of this, im thinking of starting a small directory of job vacancies and for people looking for work to post there c.v's. can some one give me a rough idea of whats involved? the site will probably be hosted by a company and i will use there software to engineer the site. as the site would be monthly subscription based ie: for employers posting vacancies and applicants posting there c.v's, how do i get the payment to me via my bank account or a seperate dedicated account. do i need an eshop? i have setup domains before and small website with geocities, messed with frontpage and mozilla composer and little HTML coding. any advice welcome. TIA LP

It's a pretty crowded field already. The biggest problem starting out would be getting people to pay a subscription when you had nothing there.
There are some scripts out there that you could use to accomplish your site.
