http://www.appservnetwork.com is Appserv's website. If you want stable then get 2.4.5, if you want the newest versions of PHP and MySQL then get 2.5.4. In your case, I would go with 2.4.5. Basically, you will install Appserv and then save you files into the www folder in the Appserv directory.

Thanks a lot.. I would rather try your suggestion. I have already installed the 2.1.5 version, I will just replace it to 2.4.5. Is it possible to have two running apache servers in one pc?

I'm not sure what you would gain by doing that. Unless you wanted to test older versions of the software. It might work, but I'm not sure.

I wrote a guide on Appserv about a year ago: http://www.pcmech.com/show/network/690/

I do not believe it is possible to have multiple instances of Apache running, and shutter at the thought of such a setup - talk about conflicts! I wouldn't do it if I were you.....

Yeah, unless you change the server name of the new set up to something other than localhost...but even then. You could always shut down the older version when you want to use the newer one (and vice versa) I suppose....

I'll vouch for Tyler's guide. I was able to get it set up without a problem.
