Exclamation Starting a FTP Server

How would I go about starting a FTP Server. I have read how-to's on line and I was wondering for a business can it be hosted by a stand alone computer which people can upload and download certain files. I dont have a budget for this, also do I have to have Windows 2k3 Sever. Any recommendations would really help.

I'm not an expert here, but how much traffic do you expect? Have you got the proper bandwidth? or permession from your ISP?

You do not need to be running server 2k3. You can set one up at home on another computer. Just check out this http://sourceforge.net/projects/filezilla/

You want the server, not the client. Might be pretty slow because i doubt that you have high upload speeds from your ISP. Good luck.
