which programming language
i'm planning to learn a programming language. there are so many in the market
c, c++, etc. i want to make exe file running in Windows environment. i find it boring programming in DOS. the program will be used to communicate with a m68hc11 microcontrller through rs232c serial port. which one is a suitable one and easy to learn ? any suggestions? |

C++ all the way, preferably Borland C++ (OWL is a nice wrapper class set for working with Win apps)
turbo c program The software I recommended in the above thread is what I'd recommend again. I can help you get started writing windows GUI programs, too, as there are a few tricks of the trade to GUI programming.
