web hosting suggestion!

Hi guys and gals!

I'm wondering if some of you have some suggestions on some hosting companies to host a few domains.

I am currently hosting with shieldhost.com but I've had nothing but problems since they migrated to cPanel but I am not sure if it is because of cPanel or if it is the actual servers being used by the host.

Some of the issues that I have been having are maily with email/webmail:

webmail usually doesn't work or keeps me and error message that my username and password don't match but if I try it a few minutes later it will let me in.

When I try to download email to outlook it keeps giving me an error message that the incoming mail server is not available or times out! and this happens everyday when I get home to download my mail!

Today I checked my webmai at work and had some important mail and when I got home and tried to download it there was no "new" mail and I checked webmail again and all the messages were gone.

Now, like I mentioned I'm not sure if this is because of cPanel or if it is because of the servers being used by shieldhost.com

Any suggestions would be greatly apprecaited!

Thank you!

cPanel

thanks for the reply!

would anyone know if cPanel has anything to do with the mail errors or does it have to do with servers?

cPanel uses 3 different types of webmail applications (neomail, horde, squirrel)...so not sure if this has anyrhing to do with it.

See my original post.

Now, I am at the office and I the messages that I thought were lost are still in my webmail...so, for some ODD reason I can view them from my office but I am unable to see them on webmail when I get home and unable to download them to my system @ home!

Any idea why this would be happening?

TIA
