I just stared my own business and I want to create banners to link my page from my friend’s myspace pages. And I want to be able to keep track of what stuff is bought through the link on there page or how many hits I get from there link could some one help me out

You need to make the image in some sort of paint/photoshop program. Then, it's just inserting the

Suscribe to Google Analytics (free); it is a pretty good system that tracks the number of page visistors, where they are coming from, screen resolutions, etc. It's almost an essential part of a webmasters arsenal.
