Copy/Paste Inside Web Interface

Hiya folks,

I'm looking for a method to copy/paste within an HTML table. Users would highlight a range of cells in a table and be able to right-click and copy the contents. Then be able to paste the contents into the table. Complex and odd, I know.

I'm dealing mainly with DHTML, Javascript and Classic .ASP, but any suggestions would be appreciated and considered.

Sounds a little strange, but we are building a very complex interface that handles a large amount of data entry. Our users would not be thrilled with entering data over and over again, hence the copy/paste idea.

Thanks very much for any ideas!

Hey mairving,

That was one of the first things I asked too. Unfortunately, I've been told that everything has to stay inside the interface. Good idea though... thanks!
