simple java IDE
I need some type of simple java IDE. i have a program that allows me to convert any .EXE file into a U3 program for my flash drive, so if possible it would be best ot have a program thats just based off one .exe file. The reason i need this is because jGrasp (my favorite IDE ever) does not work correctly on school computers (they wont let you install it). Does anyone know of something simpler? i tried making jGrasp into a U3 program but it ran into alot of errors. Thanks!

Eclipse will work off of anywhere. However, it's not small and it's not inside one exe file.

JCreator LE is also a nice simple program. It's nowhere near as powerful as Eclipse but it is a much lighter program.

thanks-- i added jCreator to my flash drive. luckily the program to convert to U3 can also incorporate .dll and other files needed for the program, so Jcreator seems to work running directly off my flash drive! The reason i needed this is because my schools security settings have gotten so tight on the computers that i cant install anything without admin priveleges. heck, our comptuer science class had to wait a few weeks even to be allowed to put java on the computers....and thats kind of a necessity for an APCS class!

eclipse looks nice also, but 120MB is quite a big file for my flash drive...Jcreator fits on there easily, and i really only needed a bare bones IDE for those times when i gotta work on a project in the library.
