adverting for web sites
iam sure most of you guys have started websites. and i was hopin yall would give me some tips on how to get my website noticed.

Submit your site to Google.
http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/ And cross link with as many relevant sites as you can. Johanna |

Sites don't have to link to eachother, actually that may count against you because Google is smart enough to spot link trades, at least sometimes. Google wants to find genuine links because your site has good content, not because you traded links to both try to gain pagerank. But trading links probably doesn't actually work against you.
