Hi guys,
i'm a 3rd year undergrad student in interactive media production in the uk... it's 3.55am and i've run out of music, mostly i code to something with a bit of a beat, so as not to get distracted by the lyrics, but have drawn up a blank on my next album to play... just wondered if anyone had any 'golden gems' they like to code too and wouldn't mind sharing, i have an itunes account and a student loan fresh today i could be enjoying your selections, seconds from now!! please help! cheers. M@

i personally do all of my homework listening to either Apocalyptica or Rammstein. Apocalyptica doesn't have too much singing, mostly instrumental. i don't speak german, so rammstein is perfect for me.
i also like to listen to Armin Van Buuren "State of Trance" mixes craig

Willie Nelson...ouch just kidding. I heard an ad for Willie yesterday and his song stuck in my head. It wasn't pretty.
I get distracted listening to music while I am coding.

Some of the music i've found particularly good to listen to so far;
Various Artists - Clubbers Guide 2007 Fallout boy - New Album Joni Mitchell - Blue RjD2 - All Albums Podcasts; Funky London - All of them. Mostly dance music or lo-fi something with a beat, that wont distract me to much, but fills the silence. i cant recommend RjD2 enough, awesome break beat lo-fi! |

today... we've discovered the beautiful new sounds of incubus's new album. buy this now. to be honest morning view, and crow left of murder have been very helpful to. high and low tones on all albums help destroy silence, while - for the most part - keeping me at least focused.
happy to see queen up here. a sound effort ![]() m |
