for a newbie
hi all,
does java and c++ run in win2k? i was upgrading to win2k from win98 and after checking hardware and software, setup showed that java 1.3.1 is incompatible. i cancelled upgrade. didn't have c++ installed, so don't know about that. thanx. |

Hi akmsr,
I just checked Sun's site and it lists Java 2 SDK version 1.3.1 as being compatable with Windows 2000. http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/download-windows.html Also, C++ isn't OS specific, you just need to find a compiler that runs in Winows 2000. Hope that helps

thanx for the reply. i checked the link you provided. this version is 1.3.1.01 i have 1.3.1. i think that was the issue. i've to download it again. thanx again
