Php Auto date adding??

Hello.

i'm making a simple online dvd catalogue to reference my vast mount of dvds
(currently: 1120 :S)

i want my admin page everytime i add a new record(dvd) to automaticly add the current date. so they can be called up and arrange by date @ the front end. i have added a row in the table called date, but am stuck from here. anyone?

cheers.

M@

You could either use MySQL's cur_date or even better change the column from a date column to a varchar and inserting a timestamp instead of a date. The advantage would be that you could sort by when it was entered.

Pretty easy. Look over at the MySQL's date page.
