Lite-On Nero 7 Essential Question

I am setting up Nero7 Essentials for LiteOn Drive and do not know what file extensions under the 'Photos' Tab should I let Nero aplplication use? Because I am going to install Photo Shop Elements too and I do not have any experience managing and photographs and editing them using these programs. I am just learning to use software to catalogue and edit photos and graphics, for a portfolio, reproduction and webage use. Please advise. thanks

To open the flle types a nero application will be used....????

Doesn't sound like a good idea to have such a file extension association with one program?
Would allowing this type of file association prevent user options to use other applications or programs witlh the file types then?????

Allowing any type of file to associate with Nero or any other program just means that when you doubleclick on that file, Nero is the first thing to open up. You can still use the file with any program you want. You can open it through that other program or simply right click on the file in question and choose "Open with". You can also change default associations any time you want, so the decision is never set in stone.

Question Can I Use Nero7 w/Old Plexter CDRw?

As you may have seen from post my old box's Hdd crashed, so i replaced hdd and had to do complete reinstall of windows98se. I got a copy of Nero7 w/new DVD for XP box and was wondering if I could use Nero7 or parts of it for my PlextorWriter 8XCD-Recordable 4XCD-Rewriteable, 32Xmax CD-Readable. This came with a Plextor Console that always caused screen freeze up and Easy CD Creator4..
I have nero installed on my new box for graphics w/Lite On DVD but don't like using the box online to download anything if I don't have to this is what the old win98se box is for. Also can I burn image CDs w/my old plextor writre or does it have to be DVD to burn photo CDs?

Your old CD burner, if working, should be fine. At worse, if I understand your post, if Nero 7 doesn't work (it is supposed to be OK with 98) you can install Easy 4.

The Nero OEM may be locked to the Lite-On drive and may not work with your Plextor.

Here's a freebie that will work with 98 and your Plextor:

http://www.deepburner.com/download/DeepBurner1.exe
