rig my browser

i wanna rig my browser so that when a certain page open, a certain change (any rigging will do) triggers a mechanism so to open a custom made page.
for example im going to newyorktimes.com but a script(or something else) triggers a custom made page on my computer to pop up instead of it.
eithar that. or else, if you can make a few characters on the page change. that will do also.

You might want to explain better what you are trying to do, particularly the reason behind doing this.

It doesn't matter you can't do it. You could possibly do something if you either went through a proxy server or you could redirect a page using your hosts file but replacing words or characters on a page that you don't control wouldn't work.
