Guidance please

I have an existing domain name and I have everything set up on the WWW.
Here's what I want to do: I want to direct another Domain name to my existing space.

Do I have to buy the new url? I would think I would.

When i have the new Domain name how do i get it to go to my existing space. I think that i can forward it using my hosting software. Is this true?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx

You're on the right track. You need to buy the other domain URL first. Then you should find an option in your hosts software to forward other addresses to your first site. Can't be more specific without knowing your host, but it should be fairly easy to find.

I just heard about using an alias. Apparently this can be done with my ISP. They set it up and it directs all traffic to my original domain name.
BTW my ISP host my web site. Shae is my ISP
Does this sound right to you?

Most registars now will let you redirect a domain to another site or even a page. You can park it with your host which works too. Getting your ISP to do it is sometimes more trouble than it's worth.
