I am a retired IT guy having spent the last many years in management. Like most I came from the bits and bytes world originally but that was quite some time ago. I understand just enough HTML to be dangerous and have used MS FrontPage 2000 for a short period of fun.
I now want to get into some Web design and building but I’m not sure of what app to use. I don’t want to invest $$ in an application like DreamWeaver, at least not at this point. I have looked at but not tried SeaMonkey, WebDrawf, & PageBreeze. I know there must be other choices. I’m looking for recommendations from people in the know and that brings me to PCMECH. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Bill |

Seamonkey is one that comes recommended by other PCM members. NVU is one I tend to mention, since it's somewhat similar to dreamweaver.

It appears that Kompozer has taken the place of NVU. Is that your understanding? It would make sense to use an App with a GUI look and feel similiar to DreamWeaver as I suscept that's where I would eventual wind up.
Thanks for the info Force Flow. Bill |
