Sliding images
on ubuntu's home page there's a banner/frame that has sliding images of text. the first couple of images are different (sometimes) but then the background remains the same and the text just slides in and out.
is that done in javascript? can anyone teach me or link me to a specific tutorial on how to create that particular effect? i don't know javascript (yet) but i'd like to just create something like that for my website.
