made my website, but media missing
Hello.
I have just made my website with Dreamweaver CS3. I tested it on the preview area, works, test it on XAMPP htdocs works, but when I upload it using filezilla it works but only the page. Since I just drag and drop the index.html file into the public.html folder, it does come out. With the page, there should be some flash (.flv) and image files which is used to make the site work. It does not show up on the website. I tried manually saving the files after opening it into one folder, and uploading the folder onto the public.html, does not work also. I also tried moving the media into the default image folder, nothing is there also. I can see it all on the hosting, its just it does not come out on the webpage My hosting has cPanel though I used filezilla as method to transfer data. To upload my site onto the domain, I just used Dreamweaver's put up feature. Saves me time to drag one by one into the site. Last edited by mystvearn; 06-13-2008 at 07:56 PM. Reason: more info |
