Domain issue

Hi Everyone,
I have bought my domain name through google apps. Domain is actually managed by godaddy.com. Well it started with blog and decided to get my own domain name.

I have since decided to use my domain to point to my own webserver. I am using dyndns service to ensure my changing IP address does not affect my site.

Can I know what canges must I make so that www.mydomain.com can point to myname.dyndns,com?
I have tried to change the CNAME for www to point to myname.dyndns.com.
I have also tried the forward domain to myname.dyndns.com option from the godaddy control panel. Both dont seem to work.

Do I have to make any other changes. I dont want to remove or ammend any other options as I want to able to use other services from google like mail and docs.

When you make changes, give *at least* 2-4 hours for the changes to actually take. Sometimes they can take upwards of 6-8 hrs, although godaddy usually sticks around the lower time estimate.
