Quake 1 Source

Anybody tried compiling the Quake 1 Source Code before?

I am using Visual Studio C++ 6 and I get an error about not being able to include input file \Release\d_draw.obj

This file doesn't even exist in the source code package! Any ideas?

Thanks,

It sounds like a directdraw source file... I dunno what version of DirectX it used, but you will either need to get the SDK for that ver, or update the code to use the DirectX 7 or 8 libraries. It *may* just be a matter of changing link options because DX is backwards compatible...
