Wordpress or Joomla

I have been using wordpress for all of my blogs, but recently came across Joomla. it has a lot of features involved, but it seems like it can be too much work.

i think joomla can be more static, but WP is easier.

What would you suggest to use.

If all you're using is blogs then Wordpress fits the bill quite nicely. However, if you are looking for an entire CMS then Joomla makes it very easy. Joomla is a bit of an overkill when it comes to simply blogging. It isn't static, it's very extensive and has a ton of features that makes it very good for what it does (as a content management system).
Basically comes down to what you want to use your site for.

PS: If you are using a web hosting package ... check out your control panel for quick installation scripts for various packages. Most hosts have a few-click, zero-hassle applet that will allow you to try out some packages like a CMS .. give it a whirl and see if you like/need it.
