Wordpress error

I'm trying to add images to the wordpress library on my site, and I keep getting the same error on two occasions.

The error - Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 14016 bytes) in /home/mcgaheet/domains/tommymcgahee.com/public_html/redesign/wordpress/wp-admin/includes/image.php on line 147

happens when I load one file from my computer through the wordpress interface, or when I use the plugin "add from server" which lets me choose files I've already ftp'd and organized.

When I add from my computer the file adds itself to the library, then when it says "crunching" it shows the error. The file is in the library though, but it has to rebuild a thumbnail every time I refresh the library. Is that the issue here, that wordpress is failing when it tries to auto create the thumbnail?

When adding from the server the error auto pops up, but the file is added regardless.

Here is what line 147 from image.php says -

Do I need to go in and change the size value that thumbnails can be created from? I couldn't find how to do that...

Either bump up the PHP memory limit or look at what glc linked to.

Hey guys, thanks for the info and sorry for the late reply. I had forgotten to resize my photos before dumping them into wordpress, so they're no longer pushing the cap. I'll go back and work on it when / if I begin putting larger files up.
