Help me install a slide show
I am building a web page with CoffeeCup and trying to install a slide show from JonDesign's SmoothGallery.com. I download the files and put them in MY WEBSITE folder. I cut and paste the codes as instructed. First it removed my BG color and the show I have is 3 full size pics and 3 thumbnails stacked on top of each other on the left side of the page. I want my BG color back, and a working slide show in the center of the page under my banner.gif. Sure hope someone can help. Thanks.

javascriptkit is a good website to get slide show image tutorials do not search for ready made code go for tutorials.
Im sorry i do not know anything specific to smooth gallery. But isn't a normal slideshow good enough for you? lollinks removed by moderator - PR Last edited by Panama Red; 09-14-2010 at 09:06 AM. |

I am unfamiliar with CoffeCup, but I suspect the values for the colours and stuff are being controlled with CSS (most format is nowadays), maybe if you post a text file with your CSS I can take a look at it in Dreamweaver?
Yes, incorporating ready-made stuff into one's site is not always easy, but setting the right values in the CSS usually fixes the format. This is what I did to fit my Lightroom-generated slideshows to my site's format.

My guess is the css as well. Do you have a screenshot or a link to the site?
